Robert Jenkins

Responsible Investment Director

Delancey

Robert Jenkins
Robert has more than two decades of experience at Delancey across asset management, development, operational real estate and responsible investment. His experience spans multiple sectors with expertise in transitioning complex developments into operational assets and long-term places.  Prior to Delancey he worked at Green Property, Nelson Bakewell and in the public sector.

In 2011, he helped establish Get Living, the multi-award-winning residential lettings and management platform. His experience at East Village, Stratford, where the former London 2012 Athletes’ Village was transformed into a major residential neighbourhood, helped shape his approach to place-making and long-term stewardship. It demonstrated that successful real estate investment extends beyond buildings to encompass public realm, community, environmental performance and the wider social and economic contribution of a place.

Robert’s focus has increasingly shifted towards sustainability and responsible investment. Since 2020, he has led the firm’s Responsible Investment Strategy, embedding environmental, social and economic considerations throughout the investment lifecycle.
His approach is based on a simple principle: responsible investment is fundamental to financial performance. It requires understanding sustainability as both a source of risk and opportunity, and integrating it into investment decisions and stewardship through robust governance.
