Shinaide recently started working as a Senior Events Coordinator at Teach First, where she will be leading on coordinating events for over 3,000 delegates in July and October this year.

Before securing this role, Shinaide had been out of work for over year with a dent in her confidence having been turned down after a number of interviews. Shinaide approached the Mayor’s Fund for London’s Young London Working team for support and we helped her identify her strengths and brush up her interview skills so that she could showcase her talents to employers. Shinaide is a brilliant example of the driven and ambitious young candidates available in the capital, a talent pool that until now, has largely been untapped by employers in London.
