Silvia is a director of Ullmayer Sylvester Architects. She studied Design and Architecture in Germany and the UK and was recommended for the RIBA Silver Medal.  She was a tutor at the CASS in diploma unit 5 from 2005 to 2013 and an external examiner at Cambridge.

Prior to setting up her own practice she worked for Caruso St John, Florian Beigel, Wilkinson Eyre and with Allies and Morrison and has been a member of the RIBA housing group.
