Simon Donovan is the Chief Executive of the London Development Trust which provides social sustainability services on the Woodberry Down; Acton Gardens and Grand Union housing regenerations. He is also the owner of the social regeneration consultancy Independent Means Ltd and has worked with large housing developers across London and Kent. 

Over the last decade Simon has built the local community organisations he leads to and has become a leading Community Development /Social Regeneration Enterprise specialist. His organisations run a variety of community facilities including workspaces and community centres. He has won a number of UK national awards including a coveted Queens Award for Enterprise and NatWestSE100 Social Impact Champion. Over the last 30 years Simon has practiced and advised on community development on social rented sector housing estates across east London in some of the most poor and challenging wards.
