Sophia Banou is a Lecturer in Architecture at UWE Bristol. She has studied architecture in Athens, Edinburgh and Newcastle. Her research is concerned with questions of representation, mediality and mediation in architecture and design. She is an editor for Drawing On: Journal of Architectural Research by Design and the co-editor of Charrette, the journal of the Association of Architectural Educators. Her work has been published and exhibited internationally, and can be found in permanent collections in Europe and the USA.
