Stuart joined Heatherwick Studio in 2001 and has worked on many of the studio’s high profile projects, including the multi-award winning Rolling Bridge at Paddington Basin, the British Pavilion for the 2010 World Expo and the New Bus for London.

Trained as an industrial designer, Stuart has extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials. As well as leading the studio’s self-initiated works, Stuart plays a senior design role in studio projects crossing all scales, from small scale details to large scale architectural commissions.
