Susan is a highly skilled engineer with 20 years’ experience across diverse and interesting projects, including new builds and heritage refurbishments on both greenfield and urban sites. 

As one of Heyne Tillett Steel’s Directors, she leads a project delivery team in London and champions technical excellence. She also actively manages HTS+, the practice’s in-house research and innovation initiative.

A passionate advocate for DEI and social justice, Susan leads HTS’s CSR projects and co-leads the schools outreach programme. She also represents HTS on the Mayor’s Fund for London’s Firm Foundations campaign, fostering more accessible routes into engineering.
