Toby joined Eckersley O’Callaghan in 2010 and leads the practice’s Structural Engineering group. A keen interest in good buildings and good design has seen Toby leading award-winning projects in a variety of structural materials, including engineered timber. Toby has wide-ranging experience across multiple sectors. He currently leads teams on educationprojects, large-scale commercial and residential developments, high-end retail outlets, art galleries, museums, and sport and leisure facilities. He has also been involved in the successful transformation of historic buildings, such as the V&A’s Europe Galleries. Toby maintains a commitment to the industry and academia through his role as mentor, supervisor and interviewer for institutions including University College London and The Institution of Structural Engineers.
