Tom has 28 years’ experience in commercial real estate and heads up Savills UK Science Group. He works closely with Savills’ teams in other key science markets around the world and is at the forefront of emerging sector trends.
 
He advises occupiers, from SME’s to large corporates to deliver real estate strategies that realise their objectives and works for many of the leading investors, landlords and developers focused on this unique market.
 
Tom has advised on the acquisition of more than 700,000 sq ft of space over the last 5 years for the likes of Gilead Sciences, LifeArc, Autolus, Quell Therapeutics, DNAe, Achilles Therapeutics, Avacta, Purespring Therapeutics, Vernalis and Omass.
 
Key lab focused development and leasing projects include British Land and RLAM’s 350,000 sq ft 1 Triton Square in Euston, Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan’s 600,000 sq ft British Library Extension in King’s Cross, Nan Fung Life Science’s 150,000 sq ft Regent Quarter, King’s Cross, St John’s College, Stanhope & OTPP’s 1 million sq ft Oxford North, ARC Group’s 250,000 sq ft ARC Hammersmith, Kadans 114,000 sq ft 5-10 Brandon Road, King’s Cross, Longfellow’s 250,000 sq ft CamLife in Cambridge, Birmingham University, Bruntwood SciTech’s 600,000 sq ft Birmingham Health and Innovation Campus, Prologis’s 400,000 sq ft Discovery Drive at Cambridge Biomedical Campus and UBS / Reef Origin’s 2 million sq ft schemes in Stevenage and Cambridge.
