Yip is an Architect, Senior Project Officer in the GLA's Place Unit and Lecturer at UCL, leading on delivering the Mayor’s Good Growth agenda in West London.

With a focus on supporting emerging policy areas and implementing recommendations into the commissioning process of publicly funded projects, his expertise lies within ensuring design quality and the embedded representation of community and marginalised voices within the procurement and delivery of capital projects. Within the Place Unit, he leads on Industrial Intensification and Co-Location research, working closely with the Design Unit, London Plan Team and external design consultants to ensure best practice approaches to place-based industrial and logistics project delivery.
