Dr Zijing Zhang is a Lecturer in AI for Construction and Real Estate at UCL’s Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction. Her work focuses on how AI, digital innovation, and data analytics can support safer, more efficient, and more sustainable built‑environment practice. She brings experience across academia and industry, including previous research at Imperial College London and applied digital transformation work with Arcadis. She completed her PhD at UCL on AI‑enabled automated compliance checking in building design.
