The use of red terracotta is a reference to the adjacent transport infrastructure with the faience and aluminium giving Bloom a contemporary identity. The project is on course to achieve WELL Platinum and has already achieved BREEAM Outstanding and EPC rating ‘A’. This project also achieved the WiredScore Platinum certification which demonstrates the exceptional infrastructure and along with the Bloom building app enabling occupiers to book concierge services and fitness classes highlights its technological resilience.
Bloom Clerkenwell has one of London’s highest office to terrace ratios at 11%, increasing London’s biodiversity and supporting clean air through extensive planting. Construction processes and materials were sustainable, and the building will be carbon zero in operation via Citigen, which is a tri-generation network that provides heating and cooling through the use of internal combustion engines.
In addition, Bloom facilitates sustainable travel, offering 243 bike spaces, bookable Brompton bikes and amenities accessed directly from the Cycle Superhighway and situated adjacent to Farringdon Station, connecting Crossrail, Thameslink and four Underground lines.
Please note this is an in person event and will take place on site at Bloom Clerkenwell. Capacity for this event is 30 and tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
