Join the study tour of County Hall Kingston, a pioneering redevelopment of the Grade II* listed former headquarters of Surrey County Council.

County Hall Kingston is an ambitious heritage-led regeneration project, reimagining a vacant civic landmark, including its courtroom and jail cells, as an inclusive, mixed-use neighbourhood.

Opened in 1893, County Hall Kingston was Surrey’s administrative centre for over a century. Following the Council’s departure in early 2021, the 5.2-acre site presented both a challenge and an opportunity: to safeguard a landmark civic asset and transform it into a multifunctional destination that responds to Kingston’s needs.

Join London Square and architects Rolfe Judd to explore how heritage, adaptation and mixed-use development are shaping the future of this important civic site.

Please bring your own PPE, including safety boots, a hi-vis vest and a hard hat. If you do not have any of these items, please let us know on the booking form and London Square will do their best to source sufficient equipment. Please note that long trousers and long sleeves are mandatory. Unfortunately, anyone not complying with these requirements will not be permitted to join the site tour.

Please note the capacity for this event is very limited. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, with a maximum of two per organisation.
