Join this NLA Study Tour of the Royal College of Music to hear about the East Courtyard Redevelopment project.
The £40million More Music: Reimagining the Royal College of Music project has strengthened RCM’s position as a cultural destination of local, national and international importance.
The works centred on the open internal courtyard space that sits at the heart of the RCM’s Blomfield Building opposite the Royal Albert Hall. It has also delivered two technically advanced performances spaces, additional rehearsal and practise rooms, world-class recording and digital facilities and a spectacular new museum.
There is also a beautifully restored and enlarged entrance hall, a large public café, a triple-height atrium, specially commissioned art installation, step-free access, elegant foyers and additional visitor facilities.
The new Performance Hall, seating 150 and the 90-seat Performance Studio are now two of the most state-of-the-art concert venues in London and will help inspire future composers and enhance the experience of musicians and concert-goers.
Please note the capacity for this event is 30 and tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
