Study Tour: MacFarlane Place, Television Centre

Tour

Wednesday 05 February 2025
08:30 - 10:00

Join this study tour of Phase H1 & H2 of MacFarlane Place to hear about the redevelopment part of the iconic Television Centre.
Maccreanor Lavington has designed 142 affordable homes in two buildings at the iconic Television Centre redevelopment in west London for Peabody. The new additions are known as Macfarlane Place and front Wood Lane, opposite Westfield shopping centre and Wood Lane Underground Station. The developers Mitsui Fudosan and Stanhope are behind the new west London neighbourhood and the two buildings replace a former-BBC multistorey carpark.  To help limit solar gain, powered external shutters are provided to all residential windows. The shutters vary in colour between the two buildings; a dynamic facade element which reflects the domestic occupancy within.

The tour will be led by Prisca Thielmann, Associate Director at Maccreanor Lavington, Ed Major, Senior Development Manager at Peabody and Gareth Healy, Senior Development Director at Stanhope.

Please note the capacity for this event is 28 and tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis, with a maximum of 2 per organisation.
