Join Mälmo City Architect, Finn Williams, for this year’s Murray Lecture and explore the vital role city architects play in shaping cities worldwide, followed by an in conversation with Peter Murray and Gill Hicks.
The Murray Lecture is an annual event that brings leading voices in the built environment to discuss the future of cities and our industry. Williams will explore the evolving role of city architects, the tensions often at play, and the common challenges faced in many European and global cities today.
Tidskriften Rum named Finn as the most influential individual in architecture and design in Sweden in 2023. Finn has previously worked to promote public architecture and planning in the UK through roles at Croydon Council and the Greater London Authority, and as the co-founder and chief executive of Public Practice.
Following the lecture, Finn will sit down with Peter Murray for an exclusive conversation on the biggest challenges and boldest solutions transforming cities today.
To end the evening, 7/7 bombing survivor Gill Hicks will join the conversation to speak about one of London’s defining moments from the last 20 years - that coincided with the opening of NLA 20 years ago – the London Bombings of July 7th.
Please note the capacity for this event is very limited and therefore tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis, with a maximum of 3 per organisation.
