Enfield Council is inviting responses from developers to bring forward the next major opportunity within Meridian Water.
Meridian Thirteen is a 3.6 acre key gateway site within the Meridian Water regeneration area. It will connect to the £40m Meridian Water station, offering the opportunity to deliver a high-quality mixed use / residential development of up to 600 homes.
Enfield’s Meridian Water is one of London’s largest regenerations. It will deliver 10,000 homes and 6,000 jobs, becoming one place with many neighbourhoods. The homes will sit alongside plentiful outdoor space, including two new parks, revitalised waterways and an enhanced public realm.
Enfield is committed to the success of Meridian Water, with £400m invested to unlock the site for redevelopment. The first residents have already moved in, with 281 more homes under construction. Meanwhile uses are supporting local people and job creation, including the largest open access workshop in Europe, and a 15,000- person music and entertainment venue.
Penny Halliday, Director of Meridian Water comments: “As one of the Capital’s largest regenerations, we are pleased to bring forward Meridian Thirteen, to deliver hundreds of new homes and wider amenities for the people of Enfield. With significant momentum now established and residents already living here, this is an exciting step forward and we are pleased to invite a range of potential partners to submit expressions of interest about the value that they could bring to this unique gateway site for Meridian Water.”
Meridian Thirteen is the next opportunity at Meridian Water. The council is looking forward to partnering with a developer to realise its ambitious vision for current and future residents and visitors.
