Frequently Asked Questions

Please see below for answers to questions we think will be helpful. As always, feel free to contact us to discuss further how these improvements will affect you or your business via your Account Manager.

Why has the membership changed?
Following the union of NLA brands in July, our goal is to make our work more accessible through lower price points, flexible payment options and unlimited team sizes. These changes have been created with the help of member feedback. We want to enable members to easily use our service, and to enhance the benefits we offer as we expand the platform.

How have my benefits changed?
The majority of our service has stayed the same, with new options available if desired - such as increasing your team size. The biggest change day-to-day is that with your login to the new website, there are no event codes required for discounts or exclusive access! Personal members will be presented with all features and perks automatically.
To compare according to your membership level, see the full packages for personal and business membership.

Have prices changed?
Membership prices - new low prices are available for personal members (£20+VAT per month), with concessions for students (£5+VAT per month), and internationals (£10+VAT per month). Standard business membership also has a new low rate of £55+VAT per month. Programme Championship is also reduced compared to the separate member and programme rate. The only price increase is at Partner level, by £150 per annum. See the full packages for personal and business membership.
Event prices - for personal members, every ticket price will now be automatically discounted between 10-50%. Our extensive range of free public events will still run as usual.

Do I still need my discount code?
No, codes will not be needed. At the launch of the new website, logged in members will be automatically offered prices and access to features according to their membership.

How do I create an account on the website?
Existing business members - we will send an invitation to the contact we think is likely to be your admin user, to claim the account in late October. This will be very easy as the fields will be pre-filled with the latest information you have given us about your company. You will be able to easily make any edits you like, and send invitations to your team to open their personal memberships.
Existing personal members should wait for their team invitation from the business account, and will be able to register easily from there.
New members can register easily online too, from the day of launch.

Can anyone resigter an account?
Yes, free accounts will be available for anyone to register, and our year-round public content and free events will continue as usual.

Can anyone in the company use the membership?
Business membership benefits can be administered by anyone in the company, this includes project submissions, team allocations, profile details and more. Standard membership and higher will also have a number of free guest tickets to allocate to anyone within the organisation.
Personal membership benefits are exclusive to the named individual, with no attendance caps for members of the same organisation. For example, at an invitation-only event, this raises access by members in a Partner member team from four attendees to ten.

Can I change the team of personal members?
Yes, the admin user for the business membership has the ability to manage and review the team allocation at any time.

How do I renew my membership?
When the time comes to renew your membership, you will be prompted online and by email.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership at any point during my contract?
When your membership renewal is due you will have the option to change your membership level to meet your personal or business needs. If you want to move to a lower level membership before your contract ends you can do so although we wouldn’t advise this as you would lose some of your benefits. If you want to move to a higher level of membership you can do this at any point and you will be charged accordingly.

With the new flexible monthly payment options can I cancel my membership at any time?
Monthly membership payments, available to Personal and Standard Business membership, can be cancelled with one month notice. This method does result in a higher annual cost than annual renewals.

What can a business membership see of their team activity?
In a business membership, admin users can invite their colleagues to their ‘team’ of personal members, and will know once this invitation has been accepted. There is no tracking ability of the personal members beyond this. Based on your feedback this is one area we will consider developing soon.
