Resilient London: confronting climate change

Hutchinson & Partners have designed a major new workplace in the heart of Ealing’s
Office Quarter. As well as significantly reducing carbon emissions through the use
of renewable energy, the overarching approach is one of long-life loose-fit, in line
with the practice’s ethos to design new buildings that are inherently sustainable
through their adaptability and robustness, and therefore longevity of use by
generations to come. The proposals include affordable workspace and flexible uses
connected to a newly extended public realm.
