Built
Angle house is a new built low carbon project providing a family home with home office space on an awkward urban infill site of 150m2 previously partly occupied by a glass cutting builders’ yard. The new house blends into its residential surroundings with its subtle massing but is decisively contemporary with its slim light-grey bricks contrasted with openings framed in oxide red and minimal details.
Despite the building’s modest appearance on the street, there is no compromise in the generous spaces within, nor with the quality of the internal design features that facilitate exceptional natural light and biophilic experience resulting in a delightful and restful environment. Furthermore it is designed to be resilient to climate change and with high quality materials chosen from a limited palette to ensure longevity and low maintenance.
