Blackfriars Circus composed of five urban buildings ranging from 5 to 28 stories forms a carefully composed block, which respects and repairs the city fabric.
 
336 tenure blind homes are occupied including 56 social rented homes for Southwark Council, shared ownership and private homes. New public spaces are created with the block.  A square with café, seating, trees and a fountain links Blackfriars Road to Library Street.  A yard is connected to the square which is lined on all sides by small workspaces. The yard will accomindate up to 22 businesses, activating the public realm.
