Shortlisted in the WORKPLACE category

Bloom Clerkenwell comprises 144,822 sq ft of wellness focused workspace including Ready to Work - tech-enhanced managed office space, landscaped roof terraces, an in-house gym, and amenity retail. The new office building for HB Reavis is situated over the Crossrail/Elizabeth Line station at Farringdon West and right next door to Thameslink and the Circle Line. The use of red terracotta is a reference to the adjacent transport infrastructure with the faience and aluminium giving Bloom a contemporary identity.

The project has significant sustainability credentials and achieved BREEAM Outstanding, Wired Score Platinum, an EPC ‘A’ rating and is predicted Well Platinum. Construction processes and materials at Bloom were designed with sustainability in mind, the building has one of London’s highest office to terrace ratios at 11%, and the building will be carbon zero in-operation. In addition, Bloom facilitates sustainable travel, technological resilience and connectivity.

Vote for this project in the ‘People’s Choice Award’. The voting deadline is 1 November 2022.
