Setting science-based targets and recommendations for ambitious climate action for the City of London, based on detailed GHG emissions analysis and projections.

Arup led a partnership with Carbon Trust to undertake detailed GHG emissions analysis and develop recommendations for ambitious climate action. Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions footprints were established for both the City of London Corporation and the Square Mile, projecting emissions forward to 2050 and setting science-based reduction targets. Tailored action plans were developed in collaboration with key stakeholders, focussing on establishing near-term change. Supporting services included stakeholder engagement, internal capacity-building, governance integration and data management assessments.
