Dockside Canada Water

Planning Granted

A zone 2, 4.5-acre site adjacent to Canada Water Station. The masterplan includes 3 commercial buildings c.1.5 million sq ft of workspace with an active and open ground floor.

Dockside Canada Water is London’s new commercial quarter. Adjacent to Canada Water Station, the Dock’s waterfront and British Land’s scheme, it comprises a collection of landmark buildings at the gateway to Canada Water. Uniquely surrounded by acres of parks, woodland and waterways, everything at Dockside supports health, wellbeing and connection. Its public realm and the reimagining of the Eastern dock edge into into a waterside hub, creates a new public destination.

This project is featured alongside our Public London: Activating the City insight study. The publication, exhibition and online project directory explore what constitutes a successful and democratic public realm today, the role of co‑creation and partnerships, and how we can ensure that places are fit‑for‑purpose in the long term.
