Effra House consists of a full reconfiguration and extension of a South London Victorian terraced house, creating sequences of open and seamlessly connected spaces.

Featured in Don't Move, Improve! 2021

The project involves the addition of a spacious mansard roof to accommodate two additional bedrooms including an en-suite showerroom.

One weakness of a typical terraced house is the narrow entrance, which usually doesn’t leave enough space to hang coats or take off your shoes, let alone to bring in a bike or pram. This was addressed this by moving a structural wall and adding storage, seating, and a niche for a bike.
