Facet House is a retrofit and extension project for a two-storey home in Clapham, South London. It delivers innovation and value for money within an environmentally responsible design scope without compromising architectural ambition. A determined approach to planning resulted in a substantial rear addition, resolved with an elegant architectural form creatively expressed with craft and materiality.

The existing home was completely overhauled with new windows, thermal linings and services. To the rear, a light-filled open plan living space and new garden were created.
