House 101 has completely reimagined a characterful and historic property in the Peckham conservation area for modern family living. This unusual house, that was once one of a pair before being bombed in the second world war, has been reinvented and repaired to allow its story to continue in the future. To reference this journey a metal side panel beside the front door, which conceals a rainwater pipe, uses a series of back lit dots to graphically display the dates of the house’s original construction, bomb damage and recent reinvention with a further space available for another future.
