Leyton House is a new build house that has been designed to maximise the potential of its urban infill setting. It comprises a monolithic masonry plinth with a finely detailed timber structure above.

Leyton House has been designed to maximise the potential of its Urban infill setting. The design is defined by its elemental nature and comprises two distinct blocks - a monolithic masonry plinth with a finely detailed timber structure above. A full-length basement below is formed around two courtyards that enable daylight to penetrate deep into the plan. The simple form is completed by a sculptural brick chimney that forms a focal point to the open plan ground floor. Internally exposed construction and a warm, natural material palette help to create an unexpected generosity of space and calm.
