Little Donyland is a semi-detached neo-Georgian house on the Dulwich Estate. The original interior belied the grandeur of the exterior.

Our challenge was to design a kitchen extension to complement the spirit of the original house, and create a timeless, coherent aesthetic.

By relocating the principal staircase, the loft space is unlocked and the layout and flow is rationalised. A bespoke woven brickwork panel references the client’s metier as a textile designer. Brick panels and proportional glazing provide contextual modernity in the application of this traditional material.
