The vision and strategy to extend the Low Line aims to highlight the potential of the Victorian railway viaduct arches, and the spaces alongside, spanning from Lambeth North to Battersea.

This project has been shortlisted in the MASTERPLANS AND AREA STRATEGIES category at the 2024 New London Awards.

Extending the Low Line' highlights the significant potential of the viaduct arches and spaces alongside them between Lambeth North and Battersea. An overarching vision, key principles and individual projects demonstrate how to establish a continuous walking route; increase cycling opportunities; create a green thread to improve climate resilience and biodiversity; and support community initiatives and local businesses, all whilst celebrating the diverse character of the neighbourhoods that the Low Line traverses.
