Jestico + Whiles and Stockwool have collaboratively designed a vibrant residential-led mixed-use development on the waterside in Hackney Wick. The Queen’s Yard development site lies in a conservation area and within the Olympic fringe. The 143-home scheme will create a new residential community focussed around a highly animated working yard, introducing sensitive new-build around retained heritage assets. The residential component forms part of the wider redevelopment of Queen’s Yard which also features 4,500 sqm of dynamic employment space inclusive of a new Yard Theatre and community facility.
