Proposed
Selby Urban Village is a dynamic mixed-use neighbourhood masterplan with 202 new homes, streets and public spaces, revived green spaces and community/sports facilities for collaboration.
Located at the intersection of two London boroughs, the Selby Urban Village re envisions the site of a disused secondary school and underutilised playing fields in North London into a dynamic mixed-use neighbourhood of 202 homes with new streets, revived open spaces and re-provision of existing, much-loved community sports facilities.
The Selby Centre is an important inclusive civic space. A pillar of local identity, it has for over three decades provided a place for businesses and people to come together to share, learn and participate. The current centre is housed in a former school and worn out buildings at the back of a local industrial area. In rethinking the site and the wider neighbourhood, this rear condition has been completely reversed and the ethos of a working social and enterprise hub strengthened.
