Skyway multi-modal transport and growth corridor

Proposed

Adaptation of elevated section of London's infamous Westway to provide a state of the art multi-modal transport and growth corridor with linear park catalysing the development of affordable homes.

With the imminent transport revolution and arrival of ultra-efficient Connected-Automated-Mobility, Westway, London’s iconic flyover, becomes a 5km promenade and linear park stretching between Paddington and the new HS2 station at Old Oak Common. This ‘Skyway’ will link Opportunity Areas to create a linear ‘eco-city within a city’ and multi-functional multi-modal transport corridor extending outwards on the A40 catalysing thousands of affordable homes.
