Integrating park facilities, the pavilion’s tripartite design follows existing paths, lake edges and trees’ curves to provide expansive views across the boating lake, Oval and playground.
Southwark Park Pavilion includes a café, park offices and public amenities, reinforcing existing facilities while improving the day-to-day experience within the park. Positioned between the boating lake, Oval cricket field, and CGP London art gallery, it offers triple-aspect views. With an organic form inspired by the park's pathways and lake edge, it blends seamlessly into the landscape. The pavilion fosters inclusivity, enriching the park experience for all visitors.
