Extensive refurbishment and extension to a Grade II Listed semidetached home in Lambeth. With an understated style, it features slimline solid timber sliding windows and reclaimed materials throughout.

This Grade II Listed property had sustained bomb damage and no floor was level. It has been stripped back to its ‘bare bones’ and floors re-levelled. The functionality, light and feel are greatly improved via clever layout alterations, which are extensive at the lower floors and include an extension.

It is the first home in UK to benefit from ultra slimline sliding solid timber doors. Most materials are reclaimed, original features have been painstakingly restored or reintroduced. The derelict house has been turned into a modern, flexible, elegant and sustainable family home designed to last.
