NEW LONDON AWARDS 2022

Shortlisted in the WORKPLACE category

Symes Mews is a 100 year old 10,500 sqft, three storey, former furniture warehouse in Camden, that has undergone an extensive refurbishment to transform a disjointed and overlooked building into a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ design-led workspace. The retrofit approach strips back the building to expose heritage features, whilst combining this character with modern interventions, including new extensions, structural floor glazing and new lighting to deliver volume, light and height. Two private courtyards, with planting design by Cheslea Flower Show Gold Medal-winning landscape architects, inject nature to promote the wellbeing of all who use the building.

Vote for this project in the ‘People’s Choice Award’. The voting deadline is 1 November 2022.
