UCL Multi Lab

Turner Works have given a second life to a modular lab building and provided a mixture of research spaces in the Olympic Park for the growing UCL East campus.

UCL East Multi Lab temporarily relocates a modular lab from Bloomsbury to UCL East. A surrounding ‘mini-campus’ includes a Bee Lab, vertical farms, and a greenhouse. Turner Works unifies these prefabricated structures with yellow colour drenching and an aluminium mesh façade inspired by cellular structures, creating a dynamic research space that connects UCL’s vision with the community.
