Creating Inclusive and Accessible Places for All

Creating an inclusive, accessible city involves engaging communities as active participants in shaping their environments. NLA’s communities programme brings together experts, residents, and organisations to define best practices for community engagement, ensuring residents are central to the development process. This programme integrates community perspectives across the broader NLA programme.

Through roundtable discussions, walking tours and public talks, NLA unites community specialists with public and private sector leaders to address engagement challenges. These discussions tackle issues amplified by COVID-19 and focus on overcoming barriers to delivering meaningful, community-driven spaces.
