Kathryn King, who formerly worked at Islington and Kensington and Chelsea on transport planning, is now Urban Mobility Manager for the country-wide New Zealand Transport Agency where investment in active travel has increased 700 per cent in recent years. She talks to Peter Murray about the changes taking place, the potential of electric bikes and the response from motorists.
