Architect orchestrates ancient civic event

Dominic Reid trained as an architect but is now Pageantmaster of the Lord Mayor’s Show. He took over the job from his architect father in 1992 and he also runs the furniture company John and Sylvia Reid which sells his parent’s mid-century modern design.
