Emergency response

Thursday 04 March 2021

BDP Chairman, Chris Harding, tells Peter Murray how they worked with the NHS and the Army to deliver Nightingale hospitals. The firm is sharing experience and knowledge with countries around the world and the practice is seeing a lot of opportunities to create better cities coming out of the pandemic.

Pandemic is a huge wake up call and it has definitely accelerated change... and it has highlighted the importance of health care systems with a human centred approach.

Chris discusses BDP's design direction, their focus on people and process and recognising that designs all have 'distinct personalities, it is not a one size fits all approach'.
