Engineering Hygienic and Sustainable Washrooms

Wednesday 27 April 2022

With science and research at the heart of what Dyson do, it is important to understand the innovative ways in which the latest technology can improve the user experience within the built environment.

A recent survey by Dyson shows that 62% of people in the UK are concerned about visiting a washroom, with 75% washing their hands with soap and water 5 or more times a day, more than ever before. So, how can users be reassured of the hygiene levels within commercial washrooms?

Then when it comes to sustainability, how do wash stations impact the environment? With most single-use paper towels not being recycled, they have a substantial carbon footprint – so what’s the alternative?
