On location with the People's Choice Winner - Rotherhithe Bridge

Tuesday 02 August 2016

This proposal for a new Rotherhithe Bridge was crowned People's Choice winner of the NLA's New London Awards 2016, receiving over 50% of the votes. We met up with Nik Randall, reForm Architects and Gary Elliott, Elliott Wood Partnership at the proposed site for the bridge to hear more about the project and the positive impacts it might have on the area.

They also discussed how the project started, the engineering aspects of how the bridge would work, why a crossing in this area is needed, what the next steps are and how the EU referendum may have an effect on its progress.
