For decades architects have been thinking of new remote ways of working, now in the age of coronavirus and social distancing telework has become a reality for almost everyone in the world, transforming the way we produce, consume and live in cities.

What will workplaces look like after the pandemic? Will the rise of co-working spaces decline or soar? What role will social networks and communities play in the post-lockdown recovery? Are traditional office spaces and work environments needed anymore? And if not, how do we repurpose these spaces? Is the daily commute a thing of the past? Could more flexible mixed-use buildings be the answer?

This webinar brings together architects, planners and local authorities to discuss the transformation of workplaces under these unprecedented circumstances and posits the office of the future.
