“Making sure people can make sustainable travel choices if they are spending more time where they live will be an important part of future investment” Ben Plowden, who is coordinating TfL’s Covid recovery programme, speaks to Peter Murray about getting London moving after the pandemic.

Ben outlines the three key phases of this recovery, they are; restart, recovery and rebuild which follow the governments timeline for the release of lockdown.

Recovery from the pandemic must be sustainable both socially and economically.
