Anke is an experienced architect who trained at the Bauhaus University in Weimar and at IUA Venice. For over 15 years she has worked on innovative regeneration projects across London with Stirling prize-winning architectural practices.
She joined Public Practice in 2019 and during her placement at the London Borough of Bexley she worked on a MHCLG funded masterplan testing residential capacity around the stations along the Abbeywood to Ebbsfleet corridor.
In 2021 she started a new role as Principal Urban Design Policy Officer at Hillingdon where she is raising the profile of design across the borough by embedding a design-led approach to development in the revised Local Plan.
