Borja is a leading member of our London team, specialising in the workplace and residential typologies. His experience spans a career of over 15 years working on both new-build and refurbishment schemes; dealing with all aspects of a project, from client relations to design development and detailing.

 

He has a proven track record in both the design and construction delivery stages and has recently led a number of challenging refurbishment projects in central London conservation areas. His knowledge and experience within this sector has made him a key member of the practice.

 

Borja has played a key role in the delivery of several retrofit projects, including the AJ Retrofit Award-winning redevelopment of 103-109 Wardour Street. Originally the office for Pathé Films in the 1900s, the project brings together old and new, creating luxury homes with details that echo the building’s location and former use. Similarly, 20 Finsbury Circus rethinks and reactivates a landmark building to create desirable workspaces that resonate with a range of tenants.

 

Outside of Sheppard Robson, Borja is also actively involved in the BCO network, developing best practice for commercial projects across the industry.

 

Borja joined Sheppard Robson in 2006. He was promoted to Associate in July 2015 and to Associate Partner in July 2021.
