Adele is the Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Regeneration and a member of the planning committee at the London Borough of Southwark, where she has been a councillor since 2006. 

Her keen interest in planning and development has led her to undertake an MA in Urban Regeneration. She is the Liberal Democrat lead member on both the Environment, Economy, Housing and Transport and the Planning Advisory Service boards at the Local Government Association.
