Guido Lori has been working in blast technology research for 20 years, delivering patented façade components, and developing Permasteelisa Group’s dynamic response software, Testudo. Guido spearheads an innovative approach to façade design that optimises both security and sustainability, and has supported the tender and project phases of more than 20 worldwide blast-enhanced projects, including WTC3 in New York, The Palais de Justice in Paris and the new City of London Police Headquarters. Guido holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and has collaborated with leading universities around the world to develop new strategies for calculating and testing blast-resistant elements.
