James is an architect and champion of high quality architecture. With over 16 years experience, he leads Axiom's London office.

He has strong design and conceptual skills, and combines commercial and technical understanding to deliver projects through all RIBA Stages.

His role within the London team is wide ranging. Amongst other projects, he is currently leading Snow Hill, a 213 x bedroom Hub by Premier Inn in the City of London, a 700 x bedroom Hub hotel at 5 Strand Westminster, and a 400x bedroom hotel and 700 x unit student housing development both in Hammersmith.

He regularly commentates on the built environment, and is an Expert Panel member at the New London Architecture for ‘Retrofit’. A panel set up of built-environment leaders to contribute to the New London Agenda, and new mayoral candidate.
